“Hi! The whole writing team is assembled, Christian, Connor, Drew, and Jacob. We’re here to announce a new member to our writing team, Nicholas Bauer Pittman. Nick joined the team yesterday morning, all 7 pounds, 15 ounces and 20 inches. And like all us writers, he uses the English language a lot like Opa. Welcome, Nick!”
“Glad to be here!”
“What was it like to be born?”
“I’m still trying to figure it all out. Everything had seemed perfect to me, all dark and cozy in the womb. Everything I needed delivered right to me. Then, whoosh! Like it or not, I came out. I’m in a new world and not sure what to make of it. There’s light. There’s color. There are shapes. There are people. Who are these two old people?”
“Oh, that’s Oma and Opa. When you want something, go to Oma. She’ll take care of you. Opa just sits there and thinks of Bible things. What are you thinking of now, Opa?”
“Nick’s new world and our new world. ‘What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived—these things God has prepared for those who love Him.’” (2 Corinthians 2:9; Isaiah 64:4) Welcome, Nicholas!
Welcone aboard from a other old people. Guess Opa had a great reason for not having a minute for us yesterday. I am glad the "Boys" wrote this minute for him.
